Meaning moves to The City

18 December 2006

Meaning has relocated from Surrey to London, with a new office in the heart of The City, close to Liverpool Street and Moorgate. It is one of the best connected locations in London, with seven tube lines and four national rail stations within ten minutes' walk; City airport is only 25 minutes away on the new light rail link, and all the other London airports are less than hour away by train.

Meaning's director, Tim Macer, comments: "With so many clients in London and visitors from around the country and overseas, we have deliberately picked a location that is easy for everyone to get to."

The new office is at The City Business Centre on London Wall. London Wall is a ancient thoroughfare that runs along the line of the old Roman city wall, which can still be seen standing in places. The City is not only the ancient historic centre of London but today is centre to the world's most dynamic financial market -- often also simply called 'The City'. Also known as 'The Square Mile', because if its diminutive size, it is a city and county in its own right and largely independent of the rest of London. The City of London has its own Lord Mayor, its own police force and countless other curious anomolies accumulated over some 1900 years of documented history. While over 300,000 people work here every day, it has a residential population of just 8,000.

Although meaning's address for correspondence and visitors has changed with our move, our telephone numbers, email and web addresses remain the same.
